I find it funny that there is a Major double standard when it comes to men vs women co-parenting. Women always yell about equal rights in all aspects of life except when it comes to raising children. When the father stays at home with the kids and the woman plays the bills and goes to the work, the man is seen as weak and still does not do the same work as the mother. No matter how bad of a person the mother is No one will say that she is a bad person as long as the kids are with her. She can get so much assistance from different places its crazy (food stamps, cash assistance, bill assistance, public housing and clothes). But let a dad have some problems with getting a job or a place to live, he is on his own. A mother can never work, refuses to actually do anything for the kids such as feed and clothe them and no one will see her as a horrible mother, Its always “she’s going through some things”. A father can have two jobs get his kids every weekend and pay child support but let him come up twenty dollars short on the order for a few months and the child support system and the mother will be on him like white on rice and will stay on him until he can pay in full again. Females can dog out the man and say all kinds of stuff about him but Why? Why is this? Why are men supposed to carry this burden of jail time and not seeing his kids because something may happen that is out of his control.
I do not even know where to begin with this topic. Ignorance is very ugly these days the older I get the more I see and it’s sad. This is 2015 and some people are still acting like its 1885 or something. Non people of color are treating others like crap still believing they are the hierarchy of the world. Shooting in churches, killing unarmed brown and black people and still trying to put all people of color into the same box. Then I see the most ignorant of all comments on a website that is the cause of all this nonsense in America. The story was about a principle changing students grades and instead of the people talking about the principle the story was flipped on the “students”, the comments ranges from black kids are worthless to they cannot learn any way some the principle was doing them a favor. NO WHERE in the story did they even say if the school was inner city or rural. We have a black president more and more black and brown people in leadership position and the other people still thing we are dumb and ignorant. And to top all of this off, they are killing off their own people because they are so scared of the government helping people that the people that really need it cannot get it. Sad world we live in.
You hear about the wrong doing of police all the time shooting kids, unarmed black men and other nonsense. The police department says those are just a few bad apples not the whole department. YEA SURE I can understand that but then you see a few things for yourself and hear crazy nonsense in the news again. Rapist are constantly raping people and destroying lives BECAUSE the police refuse to do anything they don’t investigate none of these people, they tell the victims they are liars and nothing happened to them they did not want WTF even when they rapist is a repeat offender NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEM. BUT you drive without a seat belt or mind your own business walking down the street you get harassed by police. They search your cars looking for whatever or possibly plant something on you so you can go to jail. You go to jail for having the wrong tags on your car. You get locked out of a house that no one owns because the other person has paper work that they put together and it’s not even legal. You explain the situation to the police and they refuse to listen they say it’s a civil matter and it’s not anything they can do about it. The refuse to believe anything you say because of your color or where you live. I read a couple weeks later the actual owner of a house did the same thing to a tenant that he ACTUALLY got an eviction notice for and HES IN JAIL. I’m tired of these nonsense and no one can or will do anything about it. When will things change or does no one care until it happens to them.
watching countless black people being killed by the people that have swore to protect and service you. The justice system that is supposed to be fair is ruining the lives of so many people because of their skin color or because of their financial status. then one time a police officer not getting being served by a black kid cause he may have been busy a joke said by his manager that its because shes a cop. the officer can file a report and get both the kid and the manager fired because she was uncomfortable with the situation. expressing my concern on Facebook and white people calling me a racist and a cop hater. its not a news story just its the topic of the day go figure. The same people that are calling me a racist are the same ones using language of a racist. telling me about how nothing like that happens to black people anymore because its 2015 and it will never happen in my life time. What they do not understand is that racism is now undercover because of said laws but laws do not change peoples mind. Being black means you never know if your application was turned down because of your name or if you truly are not qualified for a job. Living in bad neighborhoods because it impossible to get and buy a decent house of minimum wage or below poverty level. seeing your kids go to bad schools because of where you live. seeing your kids grow up and no matter how wonderful and smart they are they will still be seem as a threat to the other people cause of their color. some people will never understand but that's life. some white people think because its not news means it does not happen anymore.
The nonsense and foolishness that black people have done and have to deal with is nuts. In my kids school I can not get more then 10 parents to volunteer at the school of over 600 students.
Its work and jobs EVERYWHERE but people either don't want to work or cant get them to work or the employers don't want to hire people. NUTS!!! then there are no grocery stores for at least 10 miles maybe more. Plus no buses that run in the area on a regular basis in my area. Yet these upper class areas get three or more stores and they don't even need them. Then the ONLY bank in the neighborhood is being shut down. We speak out, We get arrested. We don't say anything more crap happens, When does this end. we are expected to stop thinking everything is about race or money but looking in the world with your eyes open what other reason is it???? I have been reading and seeing what people claim will fix the plight of black people. They say getting married and going to college is going to fix everything that is wrong with the black community. So say I get married (I really am but this is not the real situation) after college but before I have kids. Everything is fine right. We get great jobs one of us is able to stay home with the babies/kids while the other works. Thats how it is supposed to go right. But in reality I have kids first, I did go to college and have student loan debt out the ass and I finally get married. is that going to make a big difference? oh what about that criminal record that may be old but people still count. Or that my husband cant pay all the thousands of dollars in child support in back child support plus support our own house hold.
SO what are the people to do now??? Living on the bad side of town has its ups and downs. You get to see all kinds of people whether you want to or not. Drugs dealers and users are on every block. You see half naked females walking around even though they have kids waiting on them at home. My husband told me about something different, something I never saw coming.
He called them new aged “Robin Hoods” they are taking matters into their own hands to make things different in the community. When I say a new approach it is a harsh new approach to the disrespect and disregard for each other. They want change in the community and they are doing things to make people change. These women that walk around half naked are being violated but with good reason. They tell the women you dress the way you want to be treated. They have ran the drug dealers off by constantly robbing them. One the other hand we have the Love Express that feeds the neighbors and school kids everyday its amazing to see how many people come to help the kids at the bus stop and the police that direct and slow traffic. They feed the community on donations and the donations have been rolling on nonstop. The elementary school principle that has taken the inner city school title off of his school and has drove the test scores through the roof in a couple of years. He holds the kids to a high standard and makes the work challenging for the students and parents. The diversity in the school is mind blowing noting that the school is in a rough area. Blacks, Whites, Latinos, Middle Eastern and Asians all make up the students body. Its amazing to see the difference. There are so many kids running around my neighborhood parent-less even though the parents are sitting in the house not caring about the kids at all. I wish I could be there for all the kids but it’s not possible. Sad to see kids begging for attention and there is no one to support them. Sad to see kids that cannot put together a whole sentence not because of a speak problem and not because they are dumb but because they don’t have anyone to have a conversation with at home.
You can not even get the parent to show up at the school on time to pickup there own kids. Life is hard enough without your parents being against you as a child. I love when kids come up to me at the schools and give me hugs and most of the time I don't even know them. Maybe these parents did not get the love they needed as kids and don't realize that kids need love either way it goes or else the cycle may continue. As we grow older things are/ should change in life and within ourselves. Life is always changing and I believe people should too but that is not always the case and it is sad. You have 50 yr olds running around like 20 yr olds and 20 yr olds acting like kids and refuse to grow up. They get mad because you are doing bigger things and hate you for accomplishing things they do not.
why and how can you blame someone else for the things you did not do. Everyone has a chance in life it is on your shoulders to decide what to do with that chance. I live in the Bible belt of America and in the south where Christians pretty much rule the land. There is a church on every block. Mega churches popping up more and more. They have a HUGE problem with Marriage Equality for all people. They act like it destroying the whole and ruining lives of all the people in America. YET here we have lawyers advertising for DIVORCES @ $399 dollars. I grew up believing that no sin was greater than another and I could have sworn that divorce was a sin and yet no one seems to have a problem what that all. There are married people running around cheating and ruining the lives of everyone over SEX and nothing else. People are getting killed and kids are being hurt by divorce EVERYDAY. Yet they say that gay marriage is the problem in the world UMM NO
